As you all know, the flu season is approaching. As young entrepreneurs, we are often times struggling with health coverage and healthy living.
Sac Coworking wants to help you save time and money by providing you with a Flu Shot Clinic (for the seasonal flu – H1N1 vaccines arrive later this year). Because let’s face it, can you afford to be sick this year?
Getting a flu vaccine allows you to reduce your chances to contract the flu and to potentially spread it around you. We called our friends at Mercy General Hospital to come and deliver the shots on location for you. And our partners Jeff and Ricardo from Capsity Offices lend their new space in the Curtis Park area for the event (kudos to them).
We reserved a 4-hour time frame for 100 shots to be given the first week of November (tentative 11/02). Please RSVP on the Event Brite link to reserve your spot. We will provide snacks, drinks, massages (yes you heard right), ice creams from across the street… only good things.
Each shot costs $20 for now (Sutter Medical Center offers shots for $25, stores like Safeway offer for $35 and your own doctor can give you a shot for the price of a regular office visit, usually $40 or more depending on your health insurance; so we think we have the best deal so far). We are currently looking for sponsors and hope to bring the price down as much as we can.
