But where did my coffee shop go?

Vadym and I are both used to working in coffee shops because that’ always better than home… Well, our favorite one has closed last month without giving us any notice at all.

We became good regulars and one day we showed up and the place was dark, with newspapers on the windowns and a small note to the former customers explaining the decision to close the store… so shocking! That was Port City Java in Elk Grove.

Another coffee shop that we kind of liked closed too, Sargent’s House of Coffee. Starbucks is also downsizing. It just seems like the economical crisis is reaching all businesses and their customers now too! Where to work now? Multiple factors seem to to justify the idea of having a coworking space in Sacramento. There are less places to work at and more people who want to work on their personal/professional projects. It seems trivial that a coworking space in Sacramento will be very popular.

If you agree with that, please wave at us:)

Cheers.

Try temple and weatherstone coffee down here.

We need to work on a permanent spot, write back!

I think the idea you have for a communal workspace in Sac is incredible. I definitely would want to be a part of it. If you need coffee shops in Sac I write articles about it for the Sac Press. My fav thus far is Tupelo for working.
